My First Tablescape!!!

I've been amazed by all the wonderful tablescapes showcased on 'Tablescape Thursday' hosted by Susan on her blog: Between Naps on the Porch. So I decided to join in all the fun.

This is my first offering.: A simple indoor picnic setting. My favourite piece is the large platter with the ants. Who invited them to the picnic?

  2. Thanks Kitty. I couldn't resist the ants either. I'm actually giving the platter to my sis for her birthday, but I wanted to show it off first. (Hope she doesn't read this!)

  8. Such a cute idea, an indoor picnic :) And I love the plate too. My daughter would love this idea. We've sometimes had what we call a 'carpet picnic' where we sit on a blanket on the floor and eat, but we haven't done it in ages!
